MAXI Vertical Lift Module

The MAXI Vertical Lift Module stores long, flat and bulky goods in a fraction of the floor space — and brings them to the operator on demand.

A MAXI Vertical Lift Module (VLM) is an automated vertical warehouse that stores goods in trays and delivers them to an operator at a picking bay. It handles bars, profiles, panels and general goods with load unit (drawer) capacities from 1,000 to 5,000 kg and machine heights beyond 8,000 mm, all driven by in-house PLC and WMS software.

Built for What MAXI VLM Delivers to Your Operation

Storage density

Reclaims vertical height, cutting the floor space a VLM installation needs by up to 90% versus shelving.

Load capacity

Load units carry 1,000–5,000 kg — heavy bars, profiles and panels handled without a crane.

Goods-to-person

Trays arrive at ergonomic bay height. No ladders, no walking the aisles, fewer picking errors.

In-house software

PLC and WMS developed in-house, so control logic and integration stay under one roof.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Vertical Lift Module used for?

A VLM is used for the storage of long, flat or bulky items in a low floor-space footprint. Goods are held in trays inside an enclosed column and retrieved automatically to a picking bay.

What is the maximum load capacity of a VLM?

The MAXI Vertical Lift Module carries up to 5,000 kg per load unit, with lighter configurations starting at 1,000 kg.

How tall can a MAXI VLM be?

Machine heights exceed 8,000 mm, sized to the available clear height of your building.
